Selecting from prescribed topics, contribute to public dialog on a contemporary issue by presenting a well-informed speech directly responding to a question about that issue. Persuade with compelling language by offering a solution to a problem to take action in response to a situation or potentially reinforce and strengthen attitudes. Zoe McCartney placed as a semifinalist in prose. Farrago is a mix of various literary works, fiction and nonfiction, under a theme. Allyson Balthazor, senior, placed fourth in farrago out of 47 entries. On Saturday April 11, members of the Fond du Lac High School Forensics Team attended the Wisconsin Forensic Coaches’ Association State Tournament.
